Platforms and PC

Rainbow Six Tactics is a 2027 multi-platform campaign. This page is the storefront sheet. Dates live on release window. Official URLs are duplicated on links in case a store page moves.

Not listed by Ubisoft: Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, mobile. Some roundups added extras. This table does not.

PC requirements (incomplete on purpose)

Steam’s public requirement block at reveal only said a 64-bit OS and Windows 11 for both minimum and recommended. No CPU, GPU, RAM, or storage line was filled in. That is not “the game is light.” That is “the page is unfinished.” Do not buy a video card for Tactics based on a blank table. When Ubisoft publishes real numbers, they will land here and in Updates.

Practical PC notes you can still use:

  • Expect a 64-bit Windows 11 machine. Windows 10 is not mentioned on the Steam stub.
  • Ubisoft Connect will almost certainly sit next to Steam, as with other Ubisoft PC campaigns.
  • GeForce Now is named, which is the cloud backup if your GPU is older than the eventual recommended spec.
  • Steam Deck compatibility is listed as unknown.

Languages (Steam)

Steam showed 15 supported languages at reveal. The first five in the compact table were English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish (Spain), with full audio on English, French, German, and Spanish. Italian had interface and subtitles without full audio in that snapshot. This wiki covers English, French, German, and Spanish because those are the full-audio European set minus the extra dozen that would explode the translation budget. Simplified Chinese and Russian are intentionally not offered on this site.

Which store should you wishlist?

  • Steam if that is where you live and you want the Closed Test blog in the client.
  • Ubisoft Connect if you already subscribe to Ubisoft+ or you want the account most likely to receive a test invite.
  • PlayStation or Xbox if you are not going to play on PC. Console wishlists do not help a PC-only test, if the test is PC-only — still unstated, see Closed Test.
  • Epic as a third PC backup. Do not assume a free giveaway; none was announced.

Price

IGN reported $49.99. No regional table is official. No deluxe stack is official. If a store shows a different number, screenshot it and wait for confirmation rather than rewriting this paragraph from a CDN glitch.

For the game systems those stores will eventually launch, start at getting started. For the reveal week that made the stores exist, read Gamescom 2026.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What are the Rainbow Six Tactics system requirements?

Not fully published. Steam currently lists Windows 11 only. This page will add CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage when Ubisoft does.

Is it on Steam?

Yes. App ID 3621390. Wishlisting is open. The campaign itself is still scheduled for 2027.

Does it need a constant internet connection?

Ubisoft has not published always-online rules. The game is a single-player campaign; treat launcher DRM as unknown until a store page says otherwise.

Will it run on GeForce Now at launch?

Ubisoft named GeForce Now among launch platforms. A specific tier (GFN Standard vs Ultimate) is not listed.
