Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Tactics Meet the Rainbow Six Tactics Team

Ubisoft Paris, Siege collaborators in Montreal, and the names on the gamescom briefings.

Meet the Team

On 26 August 2026, the day after Opening Night Live, Steam’s Rainbow Six Tactics hub posted Community Dev Blog – Meet the Team. Ubisoft’s pitch was simple: the people building this campaign are Siege fans who wanted a new way to tell Rainbow stories. This page is the public org chart as of gamescom week. It is not a leak sheet. Names below appeared on-record in Xbox Wire, IGN, GameSpot, Game Informer, TechRadar, and Ubisoft’s own posts.

If you want systems, stay in Guides. If you want dates, stay on release window. This article exists so “who is making it” has a URL that is not a screenshot of a credits crawl.

Studio

Ubisoft Paris is the lead. That is the studio behind Mario + Rabbids and recent Ghost Recon work — a tactics camera and a Tom Clancy campaign under one roof. DualShockers and PC Gamer both noted the Paris team worked in close collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal’s Rainbow Six Siege staff so operator kits and Year 10–11 placement would not drift from the live game. Tactics is not a Montreal seasonal shooter with a pause button. It is Paris building a complete single-player package, with Montreal as the lore and kit sanity check.

Platforms at launch, per Ubisoft: PC (Steam, Ubisoft Connect, Epic), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, plus Ubisoft+, GeForce Now, and Blacknut. Details: platforms.

Names you will keep seeing

Martial Potron — game director. He is the voice on permadeath, Ironman, and the no-kill question. IGN recorded optional permadeath on any difficulty. TechRadar recorded the Venice river example and the line “No, you cannot do the game 100% without killing.” Those interviews are why this wiki now has permadeath and Ironman and arrests and intel instead of a shrug.

Elie Benhamou — creative director. Xbox Wire quoted him on the franchise DNA: intel, planning, high-stakes decisions, operators with distinct roles. He is the person arguing that moving from FPS to turns was “smooth and natural” because Rainbow Six was already a tactics series wearing a shooter camera. When a guide on this site talks about Breach as the signature beat, it is Benhamou’s framing.

Emilie Cerkiewicz — community. GameSpot’s pre-brief cited her on the nine shown operators being among Siege’s most iconic, with more fan-favorites still behind the door. She is also the public face of “no in-game store, no live-service structure” in that briefing. When someone asks whether Tactics is a battle pass with XCOM lighting, point at that sentence, then at the release window.

The Steam Meet the Team post framed the wider credits as veterans of tactical FPS and turn-based tactics. That mix is the product: Siege toys, Rabbids-grade readability, Ghost Recon-scale world map. We will add individual names when Ubisoft lists them. We will not invent a combat designer from a LinkedIn guess.

Why the collaboration with Siege matters

Tactics is set in the gap between Siege Year 10 and Year 11, while Rainbow’s operations collapsed and a conspiracy — the trailer names Keres — lights fires faster than you can put them out. Shacknews and Game Informer both noted the story was written with Siege’s lore team. That is why Solid Snake and Noor, Year 11 operators, are a bad guess for this roster: the campaign is looking backward across that collapse, not forward into the current season. The Six / Paul Bishop page covers the command chair. The roster covers the nine public kits.

How to use this page

When a new interview drops, we will date it here and push the mechanical claims into the matching guide. Potron on Ironman goes to permadeath. Potron on arrests goes to intel. Benhamou on Breach stays in how to Breach. Cerkiewicz on storefronts stays in links. Do not treat a director quote as a patch note. Treat it as intent until a menu screenshot exists.

The Closed Test — register via the official site, tracked on Closed Test — is the next time these names will ask you for feedback. If you get in, write notes they can use: action costs, cuff ranges, whether the permadeath toggle was in the slice. That is more useful than asking Paris to make Tactics into Siege ranked.

Until the next Steam blog, this is the team: Paris leads, Montreal sanity-checks Siege DNA, Potron and Benhamou speak for systems, Cerkiewicz speaks for community promises. Bookmark Updates rather than refreshing this paragraph daily. A 2027 campaign does not need a daily org chart.
